1st Steps First Aid offer adult & paediatric first aid certified courses and 2-hour informal baby & child first aid classes. We offer private and public courses across the northern region. Please contact Natalie for more information, Natalie@1stStepsFirstAid.co.uk Our paediatric first aid certified courses are a fun and interactive courses which meets the requirements stated by Ofsted and the 2014 EYFS guidelines for paediatric first aid training. The blended 12 hour course consists of 1 practical 6 hour day in the classroom, and an e-learning module to be completed in your own time before the course start date. This course is recommended for any profession that provides care for babies or children, but would also be beneficial for day to day carers of children in the home or social situations such as babysitters, parents, playgroup leaders. This qualification is valid for 3 years and an e-learning & practical certificate will be presented. 1st Steps First Aid is an approved centre of Qualifications Network QNUK, an Award Organisation (AO) regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA Regulations in Northern Ireland. For more information please visit www.Qualifications-network.co.uk We offer a variety of certified adult first aid courses such as FAW, EFAW. Our informal 2 hour classes are specifically designed for parents, grandparents and anyone else that cares for children. We show how to recognise signs & symptoms and also the treatments for infants and also older children. Within these classes we cover breaks, grazes, bleeding, burns, head injuries, recovery position, CPR, choking, allergic reaction, febrile seizures and meningitis awareness. You will also be given the chance to practice on the manikins if you wish to do so. Our classes are relaxed and friendly with a variation of locations, times and dates. We also offer private sessions in the comfort of your own home with flexibility of times and dates to suit you.
