1 syllable is a hybrid dance and music company led by Raliat Oyewole-eletu founded in 2022. 1syllable started because I felt that there was a disconnect between music and dance within the performance industry. We aim to improve and diversify the image of contemporary dance and music today. At 1syllable, our mission is to bridge the gap between music and dance, creating a seamless fusion that ignites the spirit and captivates the soul. We are passionate about curating experiences that transcend traditional boundaries, bringing together the power of melody and movement. We seek to inspire and empower individuals to express themselves through the universal languages of music and dance through our drive of artistic innovation.
