The 1World Social Capital Program (1WSCP) offers young female professionals and students the opportunity to grow their social capital with highly regarded and successful Mentors who are doing (or have done) amazing work for our generation to break the glass ceiling for women all around the world. Here at 1WSCP we are a team of amazing mentors and those running the program. Our team is truly global – together we come from over 7 countries, 3 continents and speak over 5 languages. Even our business backgrounds are very wide and broad: we are bankers, lawyers, business men and women, scientists, authors, consultants, HLer, CEOs and Managing Partners and offering work experiences, job opportunities, networks , contacts and most importantly wisdom. They are committed to be a Mentor for 1 year, supporting your goals and making sure mentees have all the help they might need to make it in the corporate world. In return the 1WSCP will ask mentees to pass it forward and be a Mentor for a high school student, supporting her in her next steps after graduation. 1WSCP is working with local schools to identify students in need for a Mentor. Sheryl Sandberg said rightly: "The time is long overdue to encourage more women to dream the possible dream" ...and we at 1WSCP believe that it is time to stop dreaming and start the journey! Most importantly though, we are a team of men and women, because we truly believe that the gender diversity revolution in big business needs to be lead by both genders.
