2.0 Entertainment was founded in 2016 by Doug Belgrad, following his 27-year run at Sony as President of Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group and previously President of Production at Columbia Pictures. With a first-look feature deal at Sony, 2.0 Entertainment produces and finances commercial feature films and premium content for broadcast television and digital platforms. Since its founding, 2.0 has produced & co-financed PETER RABBIT, ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP, CHARLIE’S ANGELS, PETER RABBIT 2, BAD BOYS FOR LIFE, and GRAN TURISMO. 2.0 has also built a television production arm to take advantage of the growing worldwide appetite for episodic and long-form storytelling. Doug Belgrad is an executive producer on Fox’s LA’S FINEST, an hour-long drama starring Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union. Led by EVP Production Sophie Cassidy, 2.0 is currently developing a slate of television projects for streaming and cable.
