Being a father is really hard. Actually, I should say that being a great father is really hard. 2centdad was started to encourage and to unite dad’s that desire to take their role seriously, to have a plan and to be engaged.
It all started when I (Mike Sudyk) first became a father and realized there was not a lot out there to help me with the balance of being an intentional father and growing a business. The word “balance” does not really do it justice anyhow, things are rarely balanced it seems. I know that I didn’t want to sacrifice my family on the altar of success like I had seen some people ahead of me do (and I still don’t). The problem was that there was no one talking about this, perhaps because it is not easy and most fail along the way. That is exactly the reason that the conversation needs to happen and resources need to be shared.
