2KBW is a modern and forward thinking set of London Chambers with a commitment to excellence in a wide range of practice areas. Our predominant practice areas are London, the Thames Valley area, the Midlands and much of the South of England. The Western Circuit has been our traditional heartland and still provides much of our work, across its whole width. We offer high quality advocacy in criminal, family, general civil law and immigration. In addition to accepting instructions from a large number of solicitors firms, a significant proportion of the members are accredited to accept instructions from Public Access clients. Chambers was established in 1953 and has remained in the same London premises ever since. Former and retired members include a Director of Public Prosecutions and numerous members of the Judiciary. In 2013 we opened additional premises at 3 Guildhall Walk, Portsmouth from where our Family and Civil team are managed. Chambers is a highly respected common law set of Chambers. Five members sit as Recorders of the Crown Court, two as Deputy District Judges, one is a Deputy District Coroner and one Treasury Counsel. Two members have been appointed to the Circuit Bench in the last 2 years. We continue to attract skilful advocates and welcome applications from practitioners in all fields who share our values and vision. In addition to English, we offer practitioners who speak French, Spanish, German, Swedish, Hindi and Punjabi.
