31st State is an original new range – and category – of clean, cruelty-free and vegan grooming products developed specifically for teenage boys, all inspired by California and the guys there that make it look easy. What We’re About At 31st State, we’re against chemical shortcuts. Overpowering scents that smell like desperation. Basically trying too hard. People. Products. Whatever. Nature Gets It We took a look around at current products for teenage guys, and realised that, actually, nature was as skilled as any laboratory for hair care, skin maintenance and just all-round smelling good. You don’t need to put loads of chemicals on your skin to look good – keeping it natural is what it’s all about. So, we only use authentic ingredients in our skincare, that really work for what guys want and need. Avoiding The Unknown Do any of these things sound good? SLS, SLES, Parabens, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Petrochemicals, Propylene Glycol, Synthetic colours, PEGs, PABA, Phthalates, Genetically Modified Ingredients (GM), Aluminium, Microbeads, Lead or Mercury or Formaldehyde. No? Yeah, we don’t think so either. So we keep them out of our products. At 31st State we think if you don’t know what something is, you don’t smear it on yourself. Sometimes it’s just that simple.
