Bionic Hand South Africa is designing and manufacturing a low-cost prosthetic, robotic hand to help below-elbow amputees. There are approximately 400 000 upper limb amputees across South Africa, of whom 80% cannot afford the prostheses on the market. We are providing a helping hand at a fraction of the cost. Our prosthesis’ artificial sense of feeling puts you more in touch with your surroundings while you perform your daily tasks once again, or for the first time.
