3mar developes and produces efficient, compact, reliable shore charging connection and automooring solutions to support the maritime industry to transfer towards environmentally sustainable future. The company was established in 2020 when automatic charging connection device business was demerged from Mobimar Ltd into a separate independent entity. Our charging connecting device Nector is designed to be installed on the side of the loading ramp automatically adjusting to the water level variations. No need for vertical compensation makes the device very simple and compact. It does not require heavy foundation which reduces the civil works, often a big expense and at the responsibility of the community, to a fraction. Our automooring solution is designed to be located on the vessel side and is based instead of vacuum suction technology on permanent magnets that can be turned on and off. Being onboard it does not require communication between the vessel and the shore side and the counterpart on the shore side is just a steelplate leaving the whole pier a free for other use. Because of permanent magnet technology it does not need energy to maintain the holding force.
