At 3S we invest our own capital and only answer to ourselves. Which means that we have a greater incentive to ensure that our investment are successful. It also means that we do not have a predetermined exit strategy. We recognize that each company has unique needs, regardless of their stage of growth. Our goal is to provide both capital and expertise, as required, to help these companies thrive. We consider ourselves 'passive-active' investors, meaning that we are willing to provide support in the form of board or advisory memberships, but we never require it in exchange for investment. This is in line with 3S Capital's main philosophy. Successful companies are built on the foundation of emotionally and financially invested founders who have a significant stake in their own company, and approach each Monday with excitement.
