Our focus relies in 4.0 innovation and ingenious frugality by bringing together industrial, technological and academic research efforts and by relying on institutional resources of Groupe PSA to ensure the deployment of solutions. 4iTec Lusitânia is convinced that the competitiveness of production processes can be optimized and enhanced by providing innovative, generic and frugal solutions to SMEs and multinationals in the manufacturing sectors. 4iTec considers the promotion of collaborative Research and Development projects by integrating suppliers and innovative sub-assemblies to solve client’s problems and pain-points, which are aligned with five main areas of engineering business: product design, embedded systems, robots and automation, machine learning and operations. For 4iTec, these projects only have real purpose if they go as far as the industrialization of the solution. This translates to a close relation with upstream and end users that are industrial partners taking the risk of installing the expected innovative solution.
