4MOSST

We are 4MOSST, a startup working on the field of urban heat islands, focusing on both product development and social impact. We are bringing HSMPaint to the market, which is an innovative self-growing paint that after application grows into vertical moss coverage in cities. This gives a new dimension to currently available green walls, which are proven to be effective in combating the increasing heat in cities caused by the current climate crisis. 4MOSST is being created by four students, brought together during the Surf & Turf Journey of the EIT Climate-KIC 2019 summer school. The team; Murod, Reyes, Rianne, and Thimo, are bound by the enthusiasm and motivation to make a difference in the current climate crisis with a mutual interest in technology, innovation, nature, and creativity. By developing a simplified technological solution to current green walls, HSMPaint, and involving the local community in developing the innovative moss walls, we strive to reframe the concept of current green walls and simultaneously generate social impact.
