4TU Centre for Resilience Engineering

4TU Centre for Resilience Engineering is the knowledge centre in Resilience Engineering of the four universities of technology in the Netherlands (Delft University of Technology , Eindhoven University of Technology, University of Twente and Wageningen University and Research). This centre brings the expertise of different scientists and engineers together to anticipate the grand challenges societies will be facing. The knowledge centre wants to develop, apply and disseminate knowledge, methods and tools for making societies more resilient. The 4TU.HTSF DeSIRE programme of the four universities of technology in the Netherlands has funded the research activities in the past 5 years within the 4TU.Resilience Engineering centre. The DeSIRE programme established 6 working groups focusing on: agri-food, decision making under uncertainty, energy / cyber, transportation networks / supply chain, urban and water.
