Why we you called 5Buds?
We knew right way that we wanted our name to reflect the bud because it’s a very important part of the cannabis plant. A bud also has a strong connection to the land, and historically, the land has been a vital connection for Indigenous people. A bud is something that starts from a seed, beginning its journey, just like when we started out in this exciting new industry. And a bud is a friend, which is exactly what we envisioned our stores to be – a friend that our customers can trust to provide accurate information and the very best in service.
Our connection to the number 5 comes from. You take five when you need a quick break. We high five each other when we are happy or celebrating something. We have five senses. In numerology, five is the most dynamic and energetic of all the single-digit numbers.
We put the two together to form the name 5Buds and we loved it immediately. The name was a perfect fit that describes who we are and symbolizes what we want to be for our guest
