Royal Events was co-founded by Emmitt Tyler and Kevin Spencer. The two met back in college and were members of the 1994 University of Louisville championship cheerleading team. Emmitt is best known in the industry for co-founding JAMfest Events in 1996 and forming the JAM Brands in 2007. Kevin started the Crown Cheer & Dance Championships in 2016 and acquired Ultimate Cheer Experience in 2019. In late 2020, Emmitt joined Kevin on the Crown and UCE team as a strategic partner. The two created Royal Events Group shortly after in spring of 2021. Royal Events Group is passionate about providing THE BEST competition experience for its athletes, coaches and spectators.
