5SG is a Lima-based investment partnership and business development boutique specialized in sourcing, developing, structuring, financing, and executing business projects and M&A/private equity transactions, with an emphasis on asset-backed (i.e. especially real estate) and asset-backed-related businesses. Pre-transaction, we participate with strategic advice and facilitate debt, Mezz, and/or equity funding, while post-transaction we provide support, hands-on, in business development, through investment exit. 5SG's Managing Partners add in excess of 50 years in general capital markets, M&A, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, project development, and corporate management experience in Europe, the US, and Latin America. As part of our endeavors, we hold an equity interest and act as Executive Board members in Pionero Gestion, a Lima-based real estate developer specializing in medium-to-high end projects and social housing in Lima; and in Arena 1, the premier event-exclusive entertainment/conference venue in Lima, holding up to 18,000 people and located on the San Miguel beachfront. Among other endeavors under development, 5SG is in the process of setting up, in association with an expert local team, a value-add real estate acquisition company, based out of Miami, which will acquire, refurbish and sell real estate assets, with a focus on the self-storage and specialty retail verticals, located in certain key states in the country. Furthermore, we're in the early-stage process of setting up a Latam-wide real estate fund, specializing in warehousing and last-mile logistics in partnership with seasoned investment professionals, experts in the field. Finally, we're also looking to launch a business in the sports&fitness industry in Spain and Portugal in partnership with a large international chain.
