5 to Watch - Canada’s Sports Business Awards co-presented by TSN and Canadian Tire, in partnership with George Brown's Centre for Business, is dedicated to advancing leadership from classrooms to boardrooms through the power of sport. Unique to Canada, this innovative student fundraiser celebrates difference makers in the world of sport commerce from coast to coast. The highlight of the night is the presentation of the 5 to Watch Signature Awards to five leaders who have achieved remarkable career success by their 40th birthdays. It is a "must-attend" event of which sets the standard for leadership in the industry. Established in 2012 by a group of dedicated alumni, the event holds a special place on everyone's calendar. In addition to Canadian Tire and TSN, premier partners include Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, FanDuel and SponsorshipNext, a division of TMG, Every year, the “who’s who” from Canada's sports business scene congregate at George Brown's beautiful waterfront campus in Toronto to toast the winners in a festive atmosphere. 100% of the net proceeds raised benefit George Brown College Foundation student awards and bursaries.
