Swaraj offers academic and rural immersive programs and sets you on the path of sustainability at the grassroots through our local culture. Although ‘Swaraj’ has several interpretations in Sanskrit, we draw inspiration from the adjective forms – Self-resplendent or Self-luminous. ‘Being’ Self-Resplendent requires us ‘being at peace with ourselves and our ‘local culture’. By ‘Local culture’, we mean five ‘interdependent’ elements that every culture exhibits – ‘Bhasha, Bhojan, Bhesh, Bhavan, Bhajan’ (Dialects, diets, dresses, dwellings, and, Dances & Songs).
