641 DI - Building Social Connectedness

641 DI is an Australian consultancy working with the public libraries, the NFP sector and government agencies. Its aim is to build capacity through better understanding of how services and programs intersect purposefully with communities to reduce social isolation and increase social inclusion. Services include project evaluation, research and planning services including scenario planning. Brendan Fitzgerald as Director has extensive experience at senior and executive levels in libraries and community agencies, including over 10 years at the State Library of Victoria and Infoxchange. Brendan works regularly with UK based scenario planning expert Dr Matt Finch. 641 DI has a particular interest in reducing loneliness through the development of community programmes that build social connectedness for individuals through volunteering.
