The Sixth Amendment Center (6AC) is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that helps policymakers ensure that no indigent person faces jail or prison time without a constitutionally effective lawyer. We are the only organization that exclusively examines and assists policymakers in fixing America’s indigent defense crisis.
