6G-OpenLab

The 6G-OpenLab at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) is an open scientific-technological laboratory dedicated to advancing 5G+/6G research. This cutting-edge infrastructure integrates intelligent radio, optical, and high-capacity core technologies to facilitate machine learning services and applications. It offers a comprehensive platform for the development and deployment of innovative 5G+/6G devices and solutions. The lab features a private cellular and wireless network, edge and cloud computing resources, and a distributed data center equipped with Kubernetes, HPC, and OpenStack clusters. As part of the UNICO I+D 6G program, funded by European initiatives, 6G-OpenLab is accessible to research groups, companies, and public administrations, fostering collaboration and innovation in next-generation communication technologies.
