7D Team was established in 2016 by a group of mining engineers who saw the potential of laser scanning in enhancing training and troubleshooting machinery failures on mine sites.
Since then, we’ve evolved into a multidisciplinary engineering firm, offering research and design services. We work across a broad spectrum of mining equipment while staying true to our roots in pump technology.
Pumps remain our core focus, with expertise in slurry and dewatering systems. Our innovations include custom-engineered tools to improve site safety, advanced materials such as Wolfram for shaft sleeves, remote pump monitoring systems, and more.
In 2023, our Bartail line of underground dewatering pumps was acquired by global water technology leader, Xylem.
We are currently commercialising new technologies including our patent-pending Water-Free Seal and Bulwark Bearing Guard.
