Our vision for 8apps has been to create a growing suite of micro-SaaS tools and add-ons that sit inside Google Workspace - helping people get their daily work done faster, without leaving Gmail, Docs, Sheets, or Calendar. We’ve watched teams juggle and struggle with tabs, copy-paste links, search for forex rates on a particular date, download hundreds of PDFs one by one and parse text (hello DV360 & Google Ads invoices 🤣 ), manually format Excel - doing this painfully, for hours… and then repeating the same tasks week after week, year after year. When we were building, growing and scaling #HappyMarketer, we had our own hacks and manual automations that we put into place, but this year, we decided to start solving some of those problems for others who are as peeved as us. It turned out to be a simple hobby to pursue - we just wanted to build useful things, sometimes with and sometimes without #vibecoding
