Striving to reduce poverty and vulnerability through financial education
A and B make 3 is a social enterprise helping non-profit organisations empower their clients through financial education (getting out of debt, managing expenses, saving, setting up businesses). We design financial education programmes, and provide Training the Trainers workshops and on-line training.
Our vision is a world where money is a tool to grow ourselves and our communities rather than a goal or a tool of oppression. Money is social: when we spend, save, invest or run a business, it impacts others; for us, a financial literate person is someone who does not harm others when managing money. Ethics and mindfulness are at the heart of our curriculum.
Our programmes are taught by partner organisations in Hong Kong, Cambodia, the Philippines, Nepal, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, DR Congo...
