A&B Smart Materials introduces biodegradable alternatives that offer the same performance without the environmental cost. Our plant-based SAPs are designed to break down naturally, leaving no microplastics behind.
We are addressing a growing regulatory shift, including the EU’s upcoming ban on synthetic SAPs in soil by 2028, and working with leading industry partners to validate and scale our materials.
Based at the University of Oxford’s Begbroke Science Park, we combine deep science with commercial focus to deliver sustainable solutions for critical industries.
