A Better Path Counseling

As the Owner of A Better Path Counseling, I am absolutely passionate about helping adults, teens, couples and families learn to thrive and get stronger by showing them how they can develop deeper levels of trust, respect and intimacy with each other. I also counsel men and women in working through life's many challenges, including relationship breakdowns, separation and divorce, job loss, health issues, grief and loss and faith-based issues and concerns. A real love of mine is working with adolescents, having worked with nearly 3,000 teens in the last three years in group and individual therapy at a behavioral health center in the Chicago area. The topics I cover include anger management, aggression, depression, anxiety, and grief and loss. I also have extensive experience counseling teenagers who identify as LGBTQ. I work with the child and their family on an individual and group level, with the goal of seeking to help all members of the family learn to adjust and relate to each other in a respectful, loving and understanding way.
