A&B Living

A&B living was started in 2019 as a result of its founder, Alessio Bernardini, wanting to create extraordinary finishes for designer furniture like no other. After gaining experience working for high-end Parisian cabinetmakers, Alessio decided to make his craftsmanship skills available to European designers. The first A&B living collection, curated by Luca Barengo, Francesco Citterio and Marco Sorrentino, successfully showcases the high-end cabinetry and distinct finishes of A&B Wood Finishes. A&B living is based just outside Milan in the furniture manufacturing district of Brianza. Here, specialised artisans apply meticulous care to everyday wood-crafting techniques, such as lacquering and polishing, and to high-end finishes that involve their full range of skills, such as Chinese lacquering and polishing, French polishing with shellac, straw marquetry, and parchment. The application of these finishes creates stunning decorative designs that elevate chairs, cabinets, tables, mirrors, sculptures and statement-making furnishings.
