A. E. Köchert Juweliere was founded in 1814 by Emmanuel Pioté and Jacob Heinrich Köchert and is now run by the sixth generation of the family, Christoph, Wolfgang, and Florian Köchert. The family business produces precious jewelry in the distinctive Köchert style at its original location in Vienna, designed by Ringstraße architect Theophil Hansen, and at its branch in Salzburg, which opened in 2005.
