A.E. Nomikos Shipping (AEN) was founded in 1985 with an aim to be a traditional and respected Ship Owning and Management Company. Headquartered in Piraeus, AEN has accumulated over 30 years of dry bulk ship management experience. At AEN, we have built an organisation with high standards of performance and discipline. Implementation is ensured through our Integrated Management System (IMS) which covers unique policies in each of the company’s different sectors such as HSQE, Operations, Technical, Marine, Chartering, Crewing, Supply, Insurance & Claims and Accounts departments. Our fleet is consisted exclusively on modern Japanese vessels, as they symbolise the exceptionally high standards we represent. Throughout our operating history, our vessels have transported globally various commodities such as steel products, coal, minerals, grains, fertilisers, cement, sugar, salt, but also other dry cargoes in bulk, break bulk or bagged form. AEN is fully computerised and synchronised, both on board and ashore, whilst remaining fully ISM & ISO 9001 14001 compliant.
