A L V A architects is a boutique, multi-disciplinary design studio founded in 2000. It is a principal led firm, with four core members involved in every aspect of design and document management from the initial sketches to the final handover. The firm has worked on a wide range of project types and does not typecast itself into particular styles /types/construction systems allowing it to find solutions as appropriate to the brief and the site. These projects, located pan India and overseas, vary from a 700 key Hotel in Mumbai to the Redevelopment of the Madras Crocodile Bank, Chennai, boutique resorts in Ladakh, the Andamans, Uttarakhand, along with premium residences in Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, Thailand and Dubai- all backed by a team of leading structural and MEP consultants who provide their vast experience and support to all projects irrespective of scale and size. They have built in steel, rammed earth, timber, exposed concrete, LGFS structures – all as appropriate to the brief and the site. The studio also has an in-house Interior Design Studio – Bonafide Designs, who collaborate on all their projects irrespective of scale and scope. Their interior work comes with a strong sense of engineering/practicality of execution and take pride in their detailing and documentation processes. They’ve been featured in the Top 50/100 Architectural Digest Architectural Lists ever since they started working in this space.
