A R E A is a new alternative for the contemporary art gallery, active in both the primary and secondary markets. We feature artists and designers, and help collectors and art lovers to BE WITH ART. Through multiple spaces and formats, we are combining gallery exhibitions with interactive and engaging experiences. Targeted at groups of committed collectors and enthusiasts, we are seeking to stimulate conversation and to spark novel ideas. We also aspire to make visual culture more accessible to a greater audience and to support social causes in the city. With this concept, our aim is to build a sustainable new gallery model and to engage Boston’s diverse communities in more exciting and effective ways. We work with artists, designers, architects, and curators who contribute to our projects. A R E A welcomes innovators of all disciplines and mediums as well as of diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
