A-PECS is one of the research groups of the Bioscience Engineering Department of the Faculty of Sciences in the University of Antwerp. The acronym "A-PECS" stands for Antwerp engineering, photoelectrochemistry and sensing. Our overall mission is to pioneer sustainable solutions for energy, environment & diagnostics. Led by Prof. Karolien De Wael, Prof. Sammy Verbruggen and Prof. Siegfried Denys, part-time Prof. Tom Tytgat, and their dynamic teams, A-PECS brings together expertise and cutting-edge research to tackle pressing challenges of our time.
