A.Alexander & Son (Electrical) Ltd was established in 1962 by Andrew Alexander and his business partner William Tawse. Our current chairman, James Alexander, joined his father Andrew in 1964 as an apprentice electrician. In 1975 as James took a more senior role when William retired, the company was then renamed A.Alexander & Son (Electrical) Ltd Stewart Alexander joined the business as an apprentice electrician in 2001, continuing the family tradition and is now our current Managing Director. The company has developed through the decades from its humble father and son origins to be a multi-disciplined national contractor, serving a spectrum of clients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In 2015 the company diversified, establishing a mechanical division to complement its existing skills and further meet the needs of our clients. This division is led by Bernard Diamond who was appointed to the board of directors in 2018. Our strong rooted family foundation is apparent today in all aspects of our work and has enabled us to develop long standing relationships with customers and suppliers, some of which date back to our origin. We are committed to offering a flexible approach to all our projects, backed with the experience and customer service you would expect with a company in business for over 61 years.
