A.D.F. CONSULTING GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERS Ltd., was founded in 1992 from engineers and geologists that their experience in geotechnical and geological site investigation and design begins in 1970. The company offers services on issues of Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology, and Geophysics. Company’s clients include Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Environmental Land planning and Public Works, Public Enterprise of Electricity (programs of dams), Railway organization (OSE S.A), Egnatia Odos S.A., Municipalities and Communities, as well as construction companies. The seat of office is found at Chalandri, Chiou 2. The privately-owned soil and rock mechanics laboratory is situated in the same address. It is equipped with all modern testing equipment with automated system of data acquisition and designing via PC. The geotechnical projects have been assisted with the geotechnical equipment of the company that consists of three sampling drilling machines, with all the support equipment and instruments of in situ soil and rock engineering tests. The scope of the company is the implementation of geological and geotechnical investigations and studies and the provision of consulting facilities to public and private sectors and consists of the following activities: • Scheduling, supervision and execution of Geotechnical Investigations (sampling boreholes, on-site tests, soil mechanics and rock mechanics laboratory tests). • Consulting services in soil mechanics and foundation aspects for civil engineering projects (earthmade constructions, dams, soil improvement, slope stability, pile foundations, landslides etc.). • Quality control of transportation projects. • Geological, Hydrogeological and Engineering geological studies. • Geological-geotechnical studies for tunnels, dams and large underground facilities design. • Implementation and evaluation of geophysical and geoseismic investigation (e.g. cross-hole).
