EPFL alumni entrepreneurship club
A3 Angels provide support to alumni of Swiss engineering or business schools who want to launch technology companies. Investors pool individual seed investments. A3 Angel provides support in the form of a deal flow, screening, due diligence support, administrative support and investor or mentoring education. We typically look at 50 entrepreneur applications every year and perform due diligence on 10. We also provide start-ups with a network of 600 EPFL alumni who have interest in our entrepreneurial activities in Switzerland and abroad.
A3 Angels was founded in 2008 by EPFL alumni in order to support entrepreneurial efforts in the field of high-technology in Suisse Romande. A portfolio of 30 companies has been supported by 60 members who delivered over 200 hours/year of mentoring to entrepreneurs. A3 Angels also contributed to more than 3M CHF seed investments in syndicates with other regional business angel networks.
