A4Abolitionist is a human rights consultancy and the home of the Abolition Project and A4Academy. We provide services to combat human trafficking, incarceration, and immigrant detention by centering the experiences of BIPOC women and girls. Founded by abolitionist, academic, artist, and activist Christina Dawkins, we are committed to dismantling the systems that perpetuate forms of modern-day slavery.
By centering those most vulnerable to forms of captivity—Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) women and girls—we advance strategies for deconstructing the prison industrial complex, divesting from human captivity, and investing in impacted communities. We use storytelling tools like virtual simulation, storyboarding, and systems mapping to deliver educational and program design services to anyone who wants to advance abolition.
