Alliance for Affordable Internet - A4AI

The Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI) is the world's broadest technology sector coalition working to reduce the cost of broadband and enable affordable access for everyone, everywhere. A4AI brings together the private sector, governments, and civil society actors from across the globe to deliver the policies needed to reduce the cost to connect and make universal, affordable internet access a reality for all. The high cost of an internet connection is keeping billions around the world from coming online. A4AI’s work is driven by the belief that affordability should not be a barrier to internet access, and that policy and regulatory reform represent the best tools to reduce the cost to connect. To achieve our goal of affordable access for all, we employ a combination of research, regional engagement, and policy advocacy — underpinned by a set of policy and regulatory good practices that have been agreed to by all A4AI members.
