The Association for Learning Environments is a professional, non-profit association whose sole mission is improving the places where children learn. The Washington chapter strives at connecting industry professionals to create, discuss, exchanged knowledge, and more as it relates to the best practices of educational environments. We hold monthly tours of educational facilities followed by a networking opportunity and dinner with a presentation that's related to the field. In the spring we hold bus tours of multiple facilities in one day, in 2020 we will start providing a bus tour in both the Western and Eastern part of the state. We have opportunities for young professionals in the organization for monthly breakfast socials and a regional 20 UNDER 40 conference every year. A Service Day is held in the spring to provide assistance to local schools in need of minor revamping that capital funding has not been able to provide. (If you know of a school in need in Washington please reach out to us.)
