A8 is a privately-owned venture builder focusing on commercialising research-based innovations, particularly those born, developed, and funded through the European Research Council (ERC), the European Innovations Council (EIC), and the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT).
A8 is currently building up a portfolio of startups with disruptive innovations, whilst developing and operating its very own flagship Genomics Software Suite (GSS).
Other notable projects run by A8 include Ventures Thrive – an EIC backed investment initiative supporting 32 deep-tech startups from Widening countries.
