Nishant is the Founder and CEO of AAA Rating Consultants and Advisors (AAARCA), a company that provides credit rating advisory services & financial consultancy to public sector and corporate sector entities. With an MBA in Finance and 17 years of experience in the credit rating industry, Nishant has a deep understanding of the market dynamics and the rating criteria for different sectors and regions. Before starting his own venture in March 2023, Nishant worked at ICRA for 15+ years, where he led large analytical teams and delivered credit ratings with accuracy and efficiency. He also liaised with regulatory and government bodies for market development and credit rating of large corporates, urban infrastructure projects, and sub-sovereign entities, such as urban local bodies, housing boards, and state undertakings under the AMRUT and Smart City Mission. In 2022, he joined Citi as the Vice President and Team Lead for sovereign and sub-sovereign ratings in the Western Europe region, where he conducted in-depth due diligence and research on supranational entities and other key players. AAARCA's mission is to bridge the gap between the corporates, rating agencies, and a well-deserved quality rating. Nishant leverages his expertise in financial risk management, corporate finance, fund raising, urban development, muni and green bonds, and stakeholder relations to provide tailored and effective solutions to his clients. Recently, he has guided several steel manufacturers for operational efficiency and has also led multi notch credit rating uplift utilising his skills and sectoral expertise. AAARCA is currently working with several large corporates in sectors like steel, food processing, poultry, agriculture and rice milling to name a few. AAARCA is the financial & rating consultant for the famous IB Group (ABIS brand) based out of Chattisgarh and several other steel & infra majors based out of Odisha, Karnataka, AP, Telengana and West Bengal
