EXCELLENCE
We must facilitate the development of customer ideas and products in every way we can. Whether that is the further expansion of our considerable library of fabrics, embroidery/printing techniques and wash/finish samples; the technical prowess of our pattern making team, who are just as proficient at draping, as they are at flat pattern cutting and modelling patterns in 3-D; or our dedicated atelier, which enables the instant production and adjustment of prototypes, allowing customers to see, touch and feel their garment, a vital point in the development of any creative design.
SUSTAINABILITY
The fundamental challenge that we face is how to produce garments of the highest quality in the most sustainable manner, without limiting creativity in any way. We are doing this in the following ways:
- Implementing new directives for our sourcing team to supplement our already extensive range of recycled and organic yarns and fabrics, as recognised by GOTS and GRS.
- Introducing a planned cluster-wide scheme, in partnership with an educational charity, dedicated to researching and communicating solutions for environmental change.
- Analysing and challenging our current linear supply chain models, to identify opportunities to design out waste and pollution and keep products and materials in a circular system. In 2021 we will bring those circular systems to fruition.
