The American Association of Continuing Medical Education® (AACME)

The American Association of Continuing Medical Education® (AACME) has been serving as the international predominant standards-setting and accrediting body for continuing medical education since 2000 in 71 countries worldwide, providing the highest level quality accreditation for nearly 17,211 member governmental and non-governmental hospitals, 5120 medical schools, 1300 medical specialty societies and state medical associations, and over 610 pharmaceutical companies, in addition to recognizing over 1,230 International and, State Medical Societies, Medical Syndicates, governmental and private medical organizations. The AACME® also accredits most medical conferences sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO), Ministries of Public Health and medical authorities in 96 countries, over 6,500 annual conventions, symposiums, satellite meetings, enduring materials and seminars given by Medical Associations and Specialty Societies, Hospitals, Medical Schools, in Europe, Africa, Far East, Latin America and the Middle East, ensuring conformity with the AACME® Accreditation Standards and Policies.
