Anthropological Association for Global Development CLG

The Anthropological Association for Global Development C.L.G. is a not-for-profit company under Irish juridiction. It is created to support cultural inclusiveness and diversity in Togo and Ireland through funding, research, vulgarization, awareness, education, local and international volunteering. The not-for-profit company would like to dive deep into the understanding of our local communities in Africa, particularly in Togo in order to touch the root causes of poverty and conflicts. Furthermore, we are working to advance dialogue with other cultures and civilizations, recognizing nowadays the priority to be part of a global civilization and contribute to create it. Understanding ourselves, our cultures and heritage will help our people to develop their country while recognizing the values that other cultures bring. Our ultimate outcome is to reach exceptionally good social inclusiveness and harmonious well-being for all inhabitants in Togo, "inhabitants" means more than a word and a location. We are on the mission to make the best use of anthropology, social sciences and humanities to drive deep transformative solutions for innovative and sustainable development in Togo and spread and share mutual lessons with our partners' countries. We welcome new partners, institutions, corporates and volunteers to join us in our academic-oriented initiatives to tackle development issues in Togo, Africa and in the world.
