AAGES Ltd. from Tg. Mures, Romania, is a limited liability company, founded in 1990 by a group of engineers from the Research and Design Institute for Electrical Engineering (ICPE) Bucharest, branch Tg. Mures.
The first products of the company were the static generators for induction heating applications. Now, AAGES produces large range of induction heating equipments used in different areas of applications. These include heat treatments like surface hardening and stress relief of welded joints; melting in coreless furnaces; heating for metal forming by pressing, forging, rolling, stamping, pulling and extrusion; heating for brazing, warm assembly and plastic coating; heating in chemical industry. On request, we also can deliver individual subassemblies.
Our equipments are powered by our State of the art IGBT and Thyristor Converters. These units are produced at powers of 10 kW up to few MW's, in the frequency range of 35 Hz - 250 kHz for IGBT and 300 Hz - 10 kHz for Thyristor Converters.
