AAMA Work and Learn Center

The Work and Learn Center offers a pathway for opportunity youth who are young people ages 16-24 disconnected from employment and educational pathways. The Work and Learn Center helps students define and pursue their personal, professional, academic, and financial goals. Our 6-week Career Readiness, Design, and Digital Literacy program provides students with paid training in career readiness, digital literacy, and graphic design skills. Upon completion of the program, students receive ongoing case management and supportive services. The Work and Learn Center Social Enterprise is an advanced graphic design program where students work with local businesses and non-profits to support their social media, graphic design, and marketing needs. The Social Enterprise design, produce, and print merchandise for sale to the general public. The Social Enterprise is a program available to students who exhibit leadership, advanced skills in design, and professional communication skills.
