The first institution of the promoter society AANM & VVRSR Educational Society is A.A.N.M. & V.V.R.S.R. Polytechnic, established on 13th November, 1981 with G.O.Ms.No.620,dt.28-08-1981. The polytechnic came into existence with Sri Adsumilli Aswardha Narayana Murthy as the Founder President and Sri Vallurupalli Venkata Rama Seshadri Rao as the Founder Secretary besides five more enthusiasts for educational service.
Initially, the polytechnic had an intake of 180 in 3 Courses (DCE, DME & DECE). Now it has an intake of 1260 with total 3780 students over all three years in six branches (DCE, DME, DECE, DCME, DEEE & DAEIE).
Our polytechnic envisions to be an ideal polytechnic in the state, moulding the students to be potential professionals with all skills of a true diploma engineer in their respective branches, stimulating their inherent spirits of innovation, creativity and research with values to become competent contributors to the Nation’s wealth and advancements in engineering world.
