Aaptha is a companion which acts as a bridge in carrying love and care from the children who live far away and deliver it to their secluded parents at their homes. We provide services that help golden agers (aged parents) to lead their twilight life contently and comfortably. Aaptha Elder-care services is a non-profit organisation initiated by Philadelphia Telangana Association; a USA based NGO organization. In this present IT-diffused world, not everyone is fortunate to secure a job and settle in the same place from where he or she is born and brought up. Since our birth we tend to move from place to place for either better education or better career options, to have a better future in life. In this long journey we and our parents happen to endure many sacrifices. We miss our home, we miss our friends, we miss our locale and the toughest part is that we miss our most loved ones. Here is the ___ where our Aaptha plays its part. We working far-away or in abroad may visit our parents one or twice in a year. The compelling work schedules hinder in physically reaching our parents often. Thanks to the technology that it enables us to be connected with our parents 24/7 virtually. Also, though being away, due to our financial well-doing, we can arrange every material need around them that they require. But deep inside our hearts always lingers an angst and incompleteness that we are unable to serve and comfort them with our direct presence. Though we carry smiles on our faces while seeing and talking to them virtually every day, we are equally haunted always by our inability to express the affection through physical presence. A small touch of affection on these distressed and separated parents can bring an immense consolation, relief and joy. We cannot always expect our relatives or friends to extend this. They would be filled up with their own commitments. Aaptha fills this gap by carrying your love from you to your far-away parents with the touch of affection.
