Aardvark (www.vark.com) was founded in 2007 by top engineers and entrepreneurs from Google, Yahoo, and other major Valley tech companies. Their goal is to provide access to the knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your extended network in realtime. With Aardvark, there’s nothing to download or install: you just send Aardvark a question through a channel you already use (IM, email, Twitter, etc.) -- like you do when talking to a friend. Aardvark figures out who might be able to answer, and asks on your behalf, getting you answers from your network within minutes. We’ve been written about in The New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, and Wired and continue to lead in the Social Search space.
