Aarohan, IIT Ropar

Aarohan, the annual sports fest of IIT Ropar, is an exhilarating celebration of athleticism, team spirit, and competition. Held with great enthusiasm and fervor, Aarohan brings together students from across the country to showcase their sporting prowess in a wide range of events. From track and field to indoor and outdoor sports, the festival offers a diverse array of competitions that cater to every sporting interest. Participants battle it out in an electrifying atmosphere, supported by cheering crowds and the camaraderie that comes with being part of a prestigious institute like IIT Ropar. Aarohan serves as a platform for athletes to test their skills, forge new friendships, and create lasting memories. With its vibrant energy and unwavering passion for sports, Aarohan has become an unmissable event on the calendar of sports enthusiasts in the region. We had a total of over 700 participants, with over 150 girls and 600 boys, who competed fiercely in 15 sporting events. It was a pleasure to see the participants from 15 different colleges, coming from as far as 2000 km to participate in the fest. More than 80 matches were played during the fest. We had over 50 officials, including referees, judges, and medical staff, who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the events.
