Aarunya Foundation

Aarunya Foundation is a certified 80G trust which educates first generation learners in primary and secondary schools using creative course content to impart a strong foundation of English Speaking and Reading Skills, Basic Etiquette and Life Skills; thereby increasing their self confidence and enabling them to access more opportunities. Our program began in 2014 with 19 volunteers and 50 students and was formally registered as a Trust in Bengaluru in 2018. We currently provide a 4 year Speaking English and Accelerated Reading program that has reached over 1000 students so far using 82 teaching volunteers. We are a volunteer based NGO and our volunteer management, content creation, training and resource teams work to ensure that the program is effective with lasting impact. Donations are used to buffer the costs of running the program and reaching out to more learners.
